TACHC Leadership Development Series: Foundations of Adaptive Leadership
Welcome to the May 2021 TACHC Leadership Development Series webcast being brought to you by TACHC and our new Leadership Development partner, PatternShifts. The rate and complexity of change in the health care environment is staggering, and changes in other arenas intersect and impact health center strategic planning and day-to-day operations. Now, more than ever, leaders in a healthcare setting are required to meet unprecedented challenges that call for quick adaptive leadership, while maintaining excellent application of expertise to address technical problems they already know how to address. This session covers how to distinguish between technical problems and situations that require adaptive leadership, a process for engaging adaptive challenges, and how to leverage principles of effective leadership for both.
1. Understand key principles of effective leadership
2. Recognize and be able to engage situations that call for technical expertise and those that call for adaptive leadership
