TACHC Leadership Development Series: History of Health Centers and TACHC – Walk Down Memory Lane
Welcome to the first Leadership Development webinar, which is the start of TACHC’s Leadership Development series. To lay the foundation for this webinar series, TACHC presents the history of the health center movement and TACHC’s role supporting the movement. The health center program has a storied, 50+ year history; a history that saw many challenges faced and overcome as health centers grew to serve an ever-growing number of patients, families and communities. As part of health center development in Texas, TACHC was created to provide training, technical assistance, other services, and advocacy for federal and state policy to increase access to health care for vulnerable populations. As part of this and each webinar, TACHC will provide dedicated networking time for participants.
- Discover the important historical events that have shaped the current national health center status and environment.
- Recognize the important factors for health center success including advocating as a unified group.
- Through networking time and engagement with other health centers, share and identify best health center leadership practices.

$500 per person will register you one time for the 10 sessions in this series. All sessions will be recorded.
Your Zoom link will be emailed two days before the event. Please do not forward your confirmation email or the Zoom meeting link to others as TACHC needs to gather attendance information for grant purposes.
