2022 Annual Conference

Evolving Primary Care to Strengthen Texas Communities is the theme interwoven into this multi-day, multi-track conference with a focus on value-based care, workforce development, and legislative policy.  Texas community health centers are undergoing a significant transformation to respond to the myriad of changes occurring in the quickly evolving healthcare landscape. Pre-Conference-Health Center Board Governance: The Basics

TACHC’s Director of Legal Affairs will present an overview of legal requirements for members of health centers Boards of Directors. TACHC’s Director of Strategic Initiatives will present best practices in monitoring compliance and improving performance. This is a refresher session for health center Board members who have completed TACHC’s more detailed on-site Board training. This session will provide a solid foundation for new health center Board members who missed a TACHC Board training conducted at their center in the last couple of years. It is also a chance for Board members to network with each other and hear each other’s questions and ideas about Board roles and responsibilities and how each center Board operates.
