Trauma Informed Care (TIC) Summit {LIVE EVENT}

Based on the populations served in health centers, there is a need for transformation of health centers to improve health outcomes and mitigate malAdaptive coping behaviors that have been linked  as responses to adverse experiences.  The landmark research of Adverse Childhood Experiences Study or ‘ACEs Study’ in the 1990s ignited the movement towards what is known as trauma informed care (TIC). After 25 years of studies and evidence-based practices, the TACHC TIC Summit serves as an urgent ‘call-to-action’ for partners and stakeholders from across the country to utilize TIC as an innovative practice transformation, while advancing pressing health initiatives, such as value-based care, workforce wellbeing & development, and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment.
