As the Recruitment and Retention Program Director, Anita provides recruitment and retention services to TACHC member centers seeking to hire and retain high quality healthcare providers and administrative personnel. Anita oversees the recruitment and retention department, manages special projects for developing resources that support member centers with their workforce practices, and develops and administers collaborative workforce partnerships with state and national workforce organizations. Anita is a Certified Medical Staff Recruiter with a Fellowship Certification for in-house recruitment. She has served on the education committee for The Association of Staff Physician Recruiters , currently serves as a board member on the Texas Chapter of The Association of Staff Physician Recruiters, and serves on the Marketing Committee of 3RNet (National Rural and Retention Network). Anita graduated from Texas State University, formerly Southwest Texas State University, with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration. She has been with TACHC since 2000 and started working in the Recruitment and Retention department in 2006. Prior to joining TACHC she was employed with the Texas Department of State Health Services for 4 years.
