Integrating behavioral health care with primary care is now widely considered an effective strategy for improving patient outcomes. Patients dealing with chronic health conditions are more likely to have related behavioral health concerns. Integrated care blends care for medical conditions and behavioral health factors that affect health and well-being. Integrated care requires medical and behavioral health clinicians to work together to address the patient holistically.
Join us for a new 4 part series: Elevate and Integrate-Essential Skills for Behavioral Health Specialist. We will discuss ways to elevate behavioral health care through curbside consults, role-plays, and skills building during this series.
To begin this unique series, we are providing you a link to a 20-minute video to watch before the live session on June 7th. We are also providing you an anonymous link for you to ask questions about integration, to request specific tools, or to request specific training for integration.
We look forward to learning with and from you!!
