Behavioral Health Options During and After COVID Webinar
During the COVID pandemic, the need to use technology fundamentally changed the way people interact with health care. Telehealth provides a digital health solution that connects the patient and clinician through real-time audio and video technology. It can be used as an alternative or as a complement to traditional in-person care delivery and, in certain circumstances, can be used to deliver care such as the diagnosis, consultation, treatment, education, care management, and self-management of patients. Behavioral health services are particularly amenable to the use of telehealth and virtual visits.
This presentation provides an overview of best practices currently held by experts in the field as well as examples to consider when staffing is limited within your health center. These changes in workflows and technology navigation can serve to expand access to health center patients and will persist beyond COVID.
