The TACHC IT (TACHCnology) Department and wide area network (WAN) began in 1998. Over 30 TACHC Member organizations with almost 200 total sites and over 3500 users currently use the TACHC network for some or all of the services listed below. The TACHC network is always growing and improving: new Members and sites are added every year and new services and technologies are continuously evaluated to determine their value to our Members.
The wide area network is used today for Internet access, email, EHR communications, videoconferencing, VPN to 3rd party vendors, video on demand training, webcasts, VoIP, HIE, Remote backup services.
