Pricing
Henry Schein offers the discount schedule it has established for community health centers across the nation as follows:- A Foundation Formulary, which is the products listed with a description, item code and pricing in the current Community Health Centers Dental Buying Program. Items not included in the Foundation Formulary receive the below discounts off the pricing listed in the current Henry Schein Dental Catalog in effect at the time of ordering:
- Dental Merchandise (excluding the items on the next lines)...21% off
- Films, Amalgams, Anesthetic, Alloy………………………….....15% off
- Small Equipment and Hand Pieces…………………………......10% off
- During the term of this contract, participating health centers shall receive the best price that Henry Schein offers any FQHC or FQHC look-alike.
- Participating health centers shall also receive additional discounts off the current Henry Schein Catalog when combined TACHC purchases reach the dollar volume thresholds described below. These are termed Volume Group Discounts. Volume Group Discounts apply to all non-formulary merchandise purchases, (excluding film, amalgam, anesthetic, alloy, small equipment and hand-pieces). Discounts will appear on health center’s invoices within 10 days of the end of the month in which the new level is obtained. Discounts are not retroactive. Combined volume is the merchandise volume of the TACHC health center’s combined purchases.

Order Placement
Henry Schein encourages health centers to use www.henryschein.com to place orders. A Henry Schein representative will explain the advantages of using this website to place orders quickly and with controls, if desired. Health centers will receive training for website ordering and administrative ordering protocols upon request.
Priority Service
Health centers shall receive priority service for order placement and delivery. Henry Schein will provide same-day shipment for orders processed by 3:00 pm local time for that day. Orders will ship via UPS regular ground, at a maximum of two days for delivery, and at no charge for shipping. If a health center requests an expedited shipment, Henry Schein will notify the health center at the time of the request of the applicable express delivery fees, and receive verbal approval from the health center to proceed with the expedited order.
Extra Shipping Fees
Individual merchandise orders placed with a total purchase amount of $125 or less are subject to a $9.00 small order process fee. Hazardous materials charges will apply where applicable.
Sales Coverage
Henry Schein shall provide sales and resource coverage through a combination of inside sales, field and regional sales management. Health centers shall receive a phone call from an inside sales representative at least quarterly. The representative will verify that questions are answered and any needed assistance is provided. Health centers with an assigned field sales consultant (FSC) may establish with that FSC a visit schedule that best meets their respective care needs.
Terms
Terms of sale for merchandise are Net 30 days from date of invoice. Henry Schein assesses a 1.5% per month service charge to all invoices which are not paid within terms. Henry Schein has the rights not to approve and ship the orders should they be delinquent in payments or have outstanding debt that is higher than financially prudent. Henry Schein will work cooperatively with the health centers in delinquent status to determine mutually acceptable resolution terms.
Product Resale
Health centers cannot re-sell products, except for hygiene products sold to the patients.
