Program Overview
- The revised contract with Cardinal Health, Physician Products
& Services (formerly Allegiance Healthcare), “Cardinal”,
became effective April 1, 2004, and will expire December
31, 2008.
- Community health centers will place separate purchase
orders directly with Cardinal and pay invoices on an individual
basis directly to Cardinal. Cardinal sales representatives
and TACHC will assist you in establishing an account for
your center.
- Cardinal guarantees the benefits of any manufacturer’s
warranty(s) that may be in effect for any item sold.
- Cardinal commits to a 98% fill rate on core items within
90 days.
- Cardinal will provide the following items at no charge:
-Access to www.cardinalMD.com;
-Reports to meet individual center’s needs;
-Custom order guides;
-Inventory control system; and
-Personal field representation.
