Henry Schein DXGroup Agreement
Henry Schein, Inc. has a dental management software call
DXGroup. The details for this software are as follows:
Each dental office that is installed requires a license to
run the DXGroup software at that location.
The DXGroup Application Site License including Office Manager,
Ledger, Family File Electronic Scheduling, Patient Chart,
and Perio Chart, is priced as follows:

ANNUAL SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE

TACHC member centers will receive a ten (10%) percent discount
on Image Software and a five (5%) percent discount on Image
related hardware such as, Intra-oral Cameras, Digital X-Ray
Sensors, etc.
INSTALLATION
On-site installation assistance from our Technical department
for 40 hours on-site is available for $6,000 plus travel related
expenses. Additional time is billed at the rate of $150 per
hour plus travel. Telephone installation via a reliable connection
is available for $1,500. TACHC member center pricing is $1,250.
DATA CONVERSION
There are three parts of a data conversion:
1. Extraction of data from old system,
2. Manipulating the data to conform to a standard file format,
3. Building the database. Based upon your specific system
the extraction may need to be performed in-house or by a third
party.
Due to the different operating systems, configurations and
versions of software, data conversion pricing varies. A typical
conversion averages $1,100 for the first 4,000 names and 0.125¢
for each additional name. Custom scripts and programming are
occasionally needed and is not included in the price of the
standard data conversion. This additional time is billed at
the rate of $150 per hour.
TRAINING
$800 per day, plus travel expenses from a Dentrix Certified
Trainer. Five days is generally how much time is needed for
a practice to get their system up and running. As an option,
Henry Schein can provide a “Train the Trainer Program”
at our corporate facility in Utah. The course is a full week
and will only include students from your organization. The
“Train the Trainer Program” is $3,400 for the
first person and $500 for each additional person in the same
class. Travel expenses are not included in the tuition.
NOTE: The following items are not
included in the above investments:

· Third party software such as Microsoft NT, Microsoft
Terminal Server,
Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, Microsoft Word
· Custom Software Modifications
