Texas Clinical Director Network

TACHC recently assisted in the creation of the Texas Community Health Center Clinical Director Network (TCDN). The network is comprised of Texas community health center medical and dental directors.

The TCDN was created to provide structure to a peer-based network to stimulate the development of clinical leadership and management skills, as well as assess and provide for the educational needs of clinicians as articulated by network constituents and identified by the health care environment. In addition, the TCDN advocates for clinicians serving the medically disadvantaged; allows for collaboration with other organizations demonstrating common values, goals, and objectives; provides a forum for the development and exchange of clinical protocols and health service success models to enhance the quality and continuity of care; and formulates a cohesive multidisciplinary group of clinicians that recognize the need to practice collaboratively for the purpose of providing comprehensive health care to underserved populations.

For more information about the TCDN, please contact Sandra Benavides-Vaello at (512) 329-5959 or via email.
