The Patient Electronic Care System (PECS) is a software program specifically aimed at supporting the adoption of the Care Model in the care of patients with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, asthma, depression, HIV/AIDS, cancer, and preventive service needs. It is the latest iteration of registries supported by the BPHC for the Health Disparities Collaborative. Former registries are DEMS, CVDEMS and HEMS.

PECS is currently only available to community health centers participating in the Health Disparities Collaboratives. There are minimum system specifications required to use PECS 2.

For more information and to download PECS visit http://www.pecs-cis.org.

Click here to download "Getting Started with PECS 2".

Now available is a forum where you can connect with other PECS users, share information, and give feedback on the future development of PECS! This is the PECS Users Group website, located at www.pecsusers.net . Log on to participate in the discussion board, view the FAQ, or join the "PECSUsers" listserv.
