TACHC 2007 Manuals
TACHC has recently published updates to its performance
improvement manuals, Optimizing Comprehensive Clinical Care
(OC3) and Performance Improvement Systems. These manuals
assist centers to exceed regulations and minimum standards
to create a safe, therapeutic environment for patient care
services. Content includes comprehensive program information,
sample plans, and template policy and procedures addressing
topics such as: compliance, OIG expectations, HIPAA, health
outcomes, patient safety, and emergency preparedness. The
content of the manuals has been divided into four areas:
Management and Operations, Human Resources, Information
Management, and Compliance and Performance Improvement.
The manuals may be used by an existing Center to enhance
its existing program, compare its practices and policies
with standards, or may be used by start up Centers to establish
their practices and policies consistent with the law and
regulations and to create a culture of safety.
Caution: These OC3 manuals are copyrighted
by TACHC and only may be used by a Center purchasing the
manual set from TACHC. Authorized Centers may download the
manuals and the sample policies and procedures on their
internal system including satellite locations, and adapt
the information to the Center, as needed.
