United Medical Centers
This clinic was founded in 1973 and provides health services
to the people of Maverick, Val Verde, and Kinney counties.
This service area has been designated as a Medically Underserved
Area and as a Health Professional Shortage Area. The clinic
maintains eight service sites and offers Pediatrics, OB/GYN,
Family Practice, Internal Medicine and Podiatry. In addition,
UMC offers in-house services such as laboratory, pharmacy,
radiology, WIC, social services, family planning, HIV/AIDS
testing and counseling, health education, nutrition counseling,
and transportation assistance.
