Community Healthcare Center of Wichita Falls
This organization was founded in 1992 and its
clinic began providing health services in 1994 to people in
the following fourteen counties: Archer, Bayer, Clay, Cottle,
Foard, Hardeman, Jack, Knox, Montague, Throckmorton, Wilbarger,
Wise, Wichita, and Young. This service area has been designated
as a Medically Underserved Area and/or as a Health Professional
Shortage Area. The clinic maintains a single site and provides
services such as pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, social services,
case management, family planning, health education, nutrition
counseling, Medicaid eligibility screening, transportation and
translation assistance. The clinic also provides a referral
program for HIV/AIDS counseling, substance abuse counseling,
and mental health counseling.
